Calico Jack's Village Accommodations: Rates and Policies

Calico Jack’s offers selected accommodations during the Second Phase of this project. We are providing Jungle Cabanas and Jungle Villas for select clientelle interested in the jungle. Near the end of 2010 we will introduce luxurious villas including tree top villas.

Rates are based on single or double occupancy and include:

  • Continental breakfast (fresh fruit, freshly baked bread, coffee) for one to two guests, unless otherwise specified
  • No charge for accommodations for one child 12 years and younger, though other charges apply
  • Extra person charge of US$ 25 per person (plus tax/fee)  for occupancy exceeding 2 guests per cabana, up to 4 guests per cabana
  • On Selected Dates, a US $25 per person/per day surcharge is added

Discounts are available for members/employees of AARP, Airlines or Travel Industry, International Organizations, Universities, and repeat guests who visited us at Calico Jack’s Village, North Maya Beach, Placencia. Please contact us for additional details.

Jungle Cabanas:
Deluxe Cabana (1 bedroom/sitting room, 1 bathroom, 21ft x 24ft, with A/C) Single/Double: US$100.00
Jungle Villas:
Villa (1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, kitchenette, A/C) Single/Double: US$135.00
Villa (2 bedroom, 1 bathroom, kitchenette, A/C) Double to Four: US$165.00
Villa (2 bedroom, 2 bathrooms, kitchenette, A/C) Double to Four: US$180.00

Calico Jack's Village Deposit Policy

  • A written confirmation must be received from Calico Jack's Village to cancel or delay a tour or an accommodation reservation.
  • For a room only reservation, a two night deposit is required upon booking to guarantee reservation. The balance is due 30 days prior to arrival.
  • A 3 night minimum stay is required during Winter Season and a 5 night minimum stay is required during peak periods.
  • For packages, a deposit of US$300 is required.
  • All prices are in US dollars. Packages do not include bar items, lunches, or CJV staff and guide tips.

Additional Taxes and Fees

  • 9% Government of Belize Hotel Tax
  • 10% Government of Belize General Sales Tax on Goods and Services
  • 3.5% Administration Fee for Processing Reservations
  • Please note that taxes are subject to change according to government policy

Reservation Changes and Cancellation Policy

  • Changing a reservation: The first change is free, second and subsequent changes are $25 each occurrence.
  • On cancellations 90 (or more) days prior to arrival - 100% refund of payment.
  • Cancellations 61 - 89 days prior to arrival - forfeit 25% of payment.
  • Cancellations 31- 60 days prior to arrival - forfeit 50% of payment.
  • 30 (or less) days prior to arrival - forfeit 100% of payment.
  • There are no refunds on unused portion of any of the packages. Any changes in prices of 3rd party contractors will be added to the quoted package should these changes occur prior to your arrival. Third party contractors include, but are not limited to: Tropic Airline, Maya Island Airline, Taxi Services, Licensed Tour Operators.
  • This cancellation policy applies to any reason for cancellation including airline delays, strikes, world events, acts of God (including weather), or personal or professional issues. Trip cancellation insurance is recommended (See additional information below).
  • Please note that any funds forfeited will be credited towards a future stay or future tours at Calico Jack's Village.

Trip Cancellation Insurance

We recommend that all passengers who are worried about risks when making reservations take out travel insurance as protection against these risks. Policies are readily available covering the following risks: Cancellation charges, loss or damage to baggage, medical expenses (including repartition) personal accident and death, personal liability, and loss of money or travelers cheques. The detailed conditions vary according to the policy selected. Travel insurance can be purchased through airlines, credit card companies, and travel agents.

Additional Charge for Special Dates

On Belize Public Holidays and other special dates, an additional $25.00 (per person/per day) surcharge applies.
