Dining at Calico Jack's Village![]() Dining at One Eyed Jack's ![]() Open-Air Dining ![]() Guests at the bar One Eyed Jack's is our open-air thatched-roof restaurant and bar featuring authentic Belizean cuisine. Reflective of its multi-cultural origins, Belize cuisine encompasses a blend of Mayan, Creole, Latin, Middle Eastern, and Indian accents. Our breakfast menu offers you traditional and exotic options if you want to go beyond the continental breakfast option. Our lunch menu provides you with a variety of tasty Belizean and US favorites sometimes with a Belizean twist. Our dinner menu includes fresh poultry, fish, vegetables, fruits, and meats purchased daily from local markets and co-ops. Our Belizean chef delights in pleasing guests with dishes prepared to order, including breakfasts, picnic lunches, appetizers, and dinners. Reservations are required for dinner and we ask that you place your dinner order in the morning, at breakfast time and no later than 3pm. We ask this to minimize waste and spoilage as we use fresh produce and prepare the meals that day. The dinner menu changes daily, with a choice of two entrees offered. To allow flexibility to our dinner guests, you can also choose from our lunch menu or order a scrumptious pasta dish. The dinner menu includes Village Specialties such as Cilantro soup, Mayan Pizza, Belizean Tamales, Escabeche or Rellenos (Dubbed locally as "Black Dinner") with a side of freshly made Belizean styled corn or flour tortillas or Belizean coconut rice and beans. Or you may want to sample more traditional fare eaten by Belizean village families on a lazy Sunday evening after mass or the day at the cayes: Belizean Stewed Chicken or Belizean Grilled Fish or Belizean Grilled Pork Chops with Beans and Rice and a side of Belizean Potato Salad chased with fresh lime juice or our acclaimed local brew, Belikan beer. When Lobster, Conch and Shrimp are in season, savor them delicately seasoned with lime or "hola" take a walk on the spicy tropical side with a Creole, Coconut or Curry sauce. Are you in the mood for Belizean "fast food"? Try the best of Belizean corn: Burritos, Salbutes, Garnochos, Panades, or simply Salsa and Chips washed down with a Belikan, rum punch or our own infamous Calico Marguerita. We also offer tasty soups and pasta cooked to order for those guests that find the trip to Belize or trek through our rain forests and caves enough adventure for the day. Whatever your preference, our dishes are served with a smile and a heartfelt thanks for staying with us at Calico Jack's Village, and more generally for discovering Belize.
