Calico Jack's Village is situated on the remote North Maya beach, on the Placencia peninsula in the pristine Stann Creek region, close to jungle habitats, vast expanses of fruit and mangrove forests, lagoons and rivers, inlets, islands, and the Caribbean Sea. We are 6 miles north of the village of Seine Bight and 12 miles north of the village of Placencia (the largest of the two with a population of 500 based on the 2000 census). Hence, we offer a private location and experience and yet we are accessible to the many restaurants on North Maya Beach and also to Seine Bight and Placencia.

Calico Jack’s is located within driving distance of many of Belize’s popular natural land and sea vacation attractions. Our guests can enjoy multiple adventures. Sea expeditions include snorkeling, scuba diving (instruction and certification available), sailing, tubing through Mayan caves and jungles; and land adventures that include bird watching, exploration of Mayan temples a trip to Guatemala to explore Tikal, hiking, horse back riding or a day on a Mayan medicine trail.

We are accessible from the nearby airstrip by rugged roads that wind through local villages, or by boat through a captivating 9-mile expanse of lagoon.
